Positive: 1. The owner was friendly. 2. The apartment was huge. 3. There was a full complement of dishes, glasses, plates, and cookware. 4. The price was extremely reasonable. 5. It was great being able to use the washer in the kitchen. 6. There were lots of blankets so no one would ever get cold. 7. The terrace was beautiful and had a pleasant view of the sea. 8. Parking was safe. 9. There was a decent-sized Carrefour grocery store 5 km away.
Negative: 1. 20 steps to the apartment, 2. This is the first place we've ever stayed that's been as dirty—the bathroom sink, the kitchen dishrack, all the tables, the decorative china, etc. 3. No hand towels by either of the toilets or in the closet. 4. Bedside lamps too far away from outlets to plug in! 5. There was an extremely noisy dog out back that barked late at night and when we turned on the kitchen light. 6. Having a used bar of soap for new guests and a dirty rag on the bathroom sink - yuck 7. We used a brush to wash dishes that lost its bristles as we washed the dishes. It was so bad that I threw it out. 8. There were only 3 hangers! 9. We couldn't find any restaurants except for local 'fast food' ones up to 5 km away.
